These terms apply to everyone who uses FreeMicroTools at https://freemicrotools.com, including every tool on it. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What FreeMicroTools is

FreeMicroTools publishes free online tools and browser extensions. Most tools need no account. We may add, change, limit or remove any tool, or the whole site, at any time and without notice.

2. Using the tools lawfully

You may use the tools only for lawful purposes. In particular, you agree not to:

• use any tool to copy, download, change or share material that you do not own or have permission to use;
• use a tool in a way that breaks the terms of another website or service, including the service a tool works with;
• send automated or bulk requests, get around usage limits, or use the tools to run a competing service;
• try to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or its servers;
• upload or process anything unlawful, including material that infringes someone else's rights.

3. Video and other third-party content

The Twitter & X Video Downloader and any similar tool are strictly for personal use. You may use them only for videos you made yourself, or videos whose owner has given you permission to download them. Downloading a video does not give you any rights to it. You must not re-upload, share, sell or otherwise use anyone else's content without their permission.

You alone are responsible for what you download and how you use it. FreeMicroTools does not host, store or keep copies of any video: the file comes directly from the platform it was posted on to your device. FreeMicroTools is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to X Corp. or any other platform.

4. Your files and what the tools make

Tools that work on your files, such as the PDF and image tools, process them inside your own browser. Those files are not uploaded to us and we never receive them. You keep all rights to your files, and you are responsible for having the right to use them. Keep your original files: a tool may not produce the result you expect.

Check anything a tool makes before you rely on it. In particular, scan a QR code with your own phone before printing or sharing it, confirm that a compressed or converted file meets the requirements of the website or form you are submitting it to (we cannot guarantee that another organisation will accept it), and store generated passwords safely yourself, since we never see or keep them and cannot recover them.

Business documents such as GST invoices, and amounts written in words for cheques, are made only from what you enter. You are responsible for their accuracy and for meeting your tax and legal obligations, including registration, tax rates, HSN or SAC codes, invoice numbering, e-invoicing and record keeping. The checks a tool runs are a convenience, not tax or legal advice; ask a qualified adviser when you are unsure.

5. Ratings and feedback

After you use a tool you may be asked whether it did the job, and you can add a comment. Ratings must be honest and based on your own use of the tool. Do not send fake, automated, paid or coordinated ratings, or rate a tool for someone else.

Every rating is checked the same way, whether it is good or bad. We may hold for review, not count, or remove ratings that appear automated, coordinated or fake, that come from a sender we have blocked for abuse, or that are abusive, off-topic, or contain links or personal information. A score shown on a tool page is worked out from the ratings that passed these checks. By sending a comment you let us use it to improve the site. We will not publish your comment without asking you first.

6. Browser extensions and paid plans

A browser extension may have its own privacy policy and extra terms, shown on its page. If a tool offers a paid plan, the price and what it includes are shown before you pay, and any extra terms for that plan are shown at the time of purchase.

7. Our content

The site, its design, text and code belong to FreeMicroTools or its licensors. Some tools include open-source software, which remains under its own licence. Names and trademarks of other companies, such as Etsy and X, belong to their owners and are used only to describe what a tool works with.

8. Copyright complaints

We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act. See the copyright policy for how to send one. We will stop providing the tools to people who repeatedly infringe the rights of others, where we are able to identify them.

9. No warranty

The site and all tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that any tool will be available, error-free, secure, or that its results will be accurate.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, FreeMicroTools and the people behind it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the site or any tool. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

11. Your responsibility to us

You agree to cover any claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your breach of these terms, or from content you download, process or share using the tools.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
